The Moergestel Standerdmolen was originally built in the 15th century in the town of Biest-Houtakker. The mill was moved to Moergestel in 1852, when C. Roozen was given authorisation to bring the mill to the town. The mill is now owned by the Oisterwijk County. The Moergestel Standerdmolen is currently idle pending major restoration work, but is still open to the public, with tours available by appointment only.
