The Standerdmolen in Mierlo was built in 1640 for the Lords of Mierlo. For many years, the mill was owned by the Brant family. In 1956, the Standerdmolen was bought by the town of Mierlo, and in 1970, extensive restoration work was performed on the mill. The Standerdmolen can regularly be seen in operation, and is open to the public every Saturday during the summer. Tours are available on other days by appointment.
