The Stadhuis, or Town Hall, in Naarden is located just opposite the Grote Kerk. It is an elaborately designed, steeply-gabled building with a Renaissance style appearance. It was constructed at the beginning of the seventeenth century. The interior of the building is magnificently decorated, and has retained much of its old charm. The building is open to the public during the summer months, and is still used by the town council on certain occasions.
