St Janskerk is a fourteenth century Protestant church in Maastricht. It is the main protestant church in the town, and once served as the baptistry of St Servaaskerk, when that church was a cathedral. Today, the St Janskerk is almost as appealing to visitors, as it has an impressive fifteenth century Gothic style tower, and some interesting medieval murals. The tower is open to visitors during the summer months, and offers great views of the surrounding area.
