The Simonia Mill was built in 1714, it is a working corn mill with 3 flock grindstones. The mill was built to replace an older ’stellingmolen’, and many parts from the older mill were used in the construction of the Simonia. The mill was sold to the town in 1966, and restoration work was carried out in 1973. The mill is now ran on a voluntary basis, and is open to the public every Saturday.
