The Rentmeester Mill is an historic polder mill located on Mieddyk in the town of Menaldum. The mill was originally built in Dronrijp in 1833 to serve the Noorderpolder. It was moved to its current location in 1981 for restoration purposes. The Rentmeester mill is now used as a backup mill to prevent flooding of The Puollen. The mill is currently owned by the Menaldumadeel Mill Foundation, and is open to the public. Tours of the mill are available by appointment.
