The Remmerden Mill was built in the early 18th century. It originally belonged to the Nederhemert Castle, and was sold to the Remmerden family in 1868. The Remmerden family still own the mill and associated farmland today, although they no longer use the mill for commercial purposes. The family offer guided tours of the mill, and are currently working on a restoration plan to keep this interesting piece of Dutch heritage alive for future generations.
