The Oukoopse Mill was built during the 17th century to serve the 240 hectare Oukoop and Negenviertel polder. The mill is now owned by the Rhineland Mill Foundation. The previous owner of the mill, the De Goudse Insurance Company, still have fishing rights for the water surrounding the mill. The Oukoopse Mill has been recently restored, and is open to the public. Tours of the mill are available upon request.
