The Noordenveld Mill was built in 1878 for William Stevens. It is believed that the mill was built by the famous mill-maker J. Ritsema. Stevens leased the mill to a several different people over the next several decades, before finally selling the mill to the Nijhof family. The mill has been recently restored, and is currently ran on a voluntary basis. The current miller is Mr. S. Fockens. The Noordenveld Mill is open to the public every Saturday afternoon.
