The Niewvliet Mill is an historic corn mill that was built in 1850 by Charel Cappon. The mill was later sold to A. J. Hullu, who used it to produce grain for human consumption, and feed for his animals. In 1958 the mill was sold to Mr I. P. Michielsen, who stripped much of the interior, and used the mill as a summer residence. Today, the mill is owned by the Nieuwvliet Mill Foundation, who have restored it to working order, and have opened it to the public.
