The Netherlands Drugstore Museum in Maarssen is a unique museum devoted to ’Yawners’. In the past, a picture or statue of a yawning man was the official symbol of a drugstore. There are more than 150 yawners in the museum, including one that is believed to be the largest yawner in the world, at around 2 meters in height. The museum is housed in the former Goudestein coach house, which is now used as the town hall of Maarsen.
