The Mill P was built in 1885 to manage a 119 hectare section of the P-Zijpe and Hazepolder. The mill was built by W. J de Leeuw at a cost of 7300 Guilders, to replace an older mill that had been destroyed in a fire. The mill was bought by The Zijper Mill Foundation in 1974, and restored in 1979. The mill is now ran by Mr. J. J. Vis. Tours of The Mill P are available by appointment only.
