The Mill Massier is a traditional corn mill located on Westeinde in the town of Niewleusen. The mill was built in 1861, and was in active use for almost 100 years before it was decommissioned in 1960. In 1980, the Mill Massier Foundation was set up in order to restore the mill. The foundation spent several years raising funds, and in 2006 the first stages of the restoration work began. At the time of writing, the mill is still idle, but it is hoped that it will re-open soon.
