The Meenkmolen was built by mill-maker Maas of Winterswijk in 1851. The mill is named after the Meenk farm, which was owned by the Tenkink family. The family were not millers by trade, si they leased the mill out to supplement their income. Today, the mill is owned by Mr. H. J. Woordes. The Meenkmolen is open to the public on Saturday afternoons, with appointments available for tours on other days upon request.
