The Kringenwetboerderij Vechthoeve is located on Weesperbinnenweg in the town of Muiden, it is a good example of a the way that the Dutch planned for invasion by building farms and other supply facilities near to their forts, to ensure that there was a constant supply of food during times of war. The Kringenwetboerderij was built in 1899, and is now a Unesco protected monument. The building is not currently open to the public.
