The Kerkhovense Mill was built in 1895, to replace a much older, wooden mill. In 1912, the Kerkhovense Mill was destroyed by a fire, but was restored immediately using parts from the Buitenland van Rhoon mill from Rotterdam. The mill is now maintained by the Kerkhovense Mill Foundation, and is open to the public every Friday and Saturday. There is a small shop in the mill which sells a variety of organic vegetables, and grain products.
