The Friedesse Mill was built in 1717, and has been used for several different purposes. In the 19th century, it was used as an oil mlil, and had a small waterwheel. More recently, the mill was used as a flour mill. The Friedesse Mill is now maintained by the Friedesse Mill Foundation. The foundation restored the mill in 2002, and it is now open to the public every Saturday and Sunday during the summer.
