Map
The Fiskerhuske Museum is located on Fiskerpaad in Moddergat, and is made up of three restored fishermen’s cottages. The museum is relatively small, but the exhibits are quite interesting, with displays related to the history and culture of the village, and has information on the disaster of 1883, when seventeen ships were sank during a severe storm, and 83 people died. There is a memorial commemorating the disaster on the western edge of the village.
