The Elswout Estate in Haarlem features an Italian garden that has been laid out across the estate of the old Renaissance palace. Today, most of the architecture left on the site is 19th century, however the annexe still retains it’s Renaissance appearance. The estate is now a protected national monument. Visitors are welcome to view the outside of the estate and the gardens, however the house itself is not presently open to the public.
