The Drielandenpunt is a graffiti-covered concrete block to the east of Maastricht which symbolises the place where the borders of the countries of Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands meet. The Drielandenpunt is in quite a bare area, although there is also a labyrinth and an observation tower there, which make for an interesting visit if you happen to be nearby. The town which houses the block is known as Vaals, and is the highest point in the Netherlands, at 321M above sea level.
