The Den Oordt Mill was built in 1824 in the town of Deventer. It was later moved to the town of Ommer, where it was in active use as a corn mill and a saw mill until 1960, when it was decommissioned. Today, the mill is owned by the Ommeren Mills Foundation. The mill house, and some parts of the mill itself were restored in 1999, and more restoration work is being planned. The mill is open to the public. It is best to call to confirm opening times before visiting.
