The Vrouw Vennemolen is an historic water mill located on Leidseweg in the town of Oud Ade. The mill was built in 1835, and is a small wooden ’wipmolen’ – this design of mill is the oldest common design in the Netherlands, and was commonly used to drain small areas of land. The Vrouw Vennemolen is now owned by the Rhineland Mill Foundation. The mill was restored in 1997, and is now ran on a voluntary basis.
