The De Pere Mill was built in 1725 as a round corn stellingmolen. The mill was in active commercial use until 1966, when it was upgraded to use a 5h.p. electric motor. The De Pere Mill was sold to the town of Oost Souburg in 1983, and underwent an extensive restoration in 1987. Today, the mill is ran by two millers, M. K. Zandburg, and M. Dellebeke. The mill is open to the public on weekdays.
