The Meermolen, or De Onrust is a non-working wind mill located on Boezemkade in the town of Muiderberg. The wind mill was built in 1809, and was used as a drainage mill, to pump water out of the polders, and keep the land dry. The mill has a octagonal, wooden base, which is covered with reeds. The mill was damaged in a storm in the year 2000, but was restored and made operational again in May 2002. The mill is open for visitors each Sunday afternoon, and tours can be scheduled in advance.
