The De Koning Mill was built in 1882 to replace an older mill of the same name that had burned down the previous year. The mill was originally owned by the Nijpjes family, and ownership of the mill was passed down from father to son for four generations before the mill was sold to the town of Middelberg in 1971. The town restored the mill, and have opened it to the public. Tours are available every Saturday afternoon.
