De Hoop Mill
Oosteinde 7, 2969-Former AS Alblas - Netherlands

Map
The De Hoop Mill was built in 1844 to replace an old wooden post mill that had previously stood on that site. The mill mill was bought by John de Groot and his son Evert, and is still owned by the de Groot family today. On the ground floor of the mill there is a small shop where the miller sells a wide range of grain products. The De Hoop Mill is one of the few remaining working mills in the Alblasserwaard region. The mill is open to the public every day except Wednesday and Sunday each week.
