The Bijenstal Bee Farm is located in Opperdoes, it is a working farm and museum which offers information about bees and bee keeping. The farm features a large collection of beehives, and teaches visitors about the life cycle of bees, how they are kept, and the products related them such as beeswax and honey. There are regular workshops and tours – suitable for adults and children, and a store where you can purchase bee-related cooking and crafts materials.
