The Bovenmolen G is an historic windmill located on Zouthuissluizermolenpad in the town of Nieuwveen. The mill was built in 1810, and was originally used to drain the Nieuwkoopse Polder, in conjunction with several other mills. The mill-course was replaced by an electric pumping station in 1926, and since then several of the old mills have been demolished. This particular mill has had most of the external workings removed, but the interior is still mostly intact and in very good condition.
