The Armenmolen is an historic water-driven corn mill located on Molenstraat in the town of Neeritter. The mill was built at the beginning of the 19th century, on the banks of a small stream known as the ’Ittersbeek’. The mill was upgraded to use an iron waterwheel in 1909, although the current water wheel is more recent, and is believed to have been fitted in 1935. The Armenmolen is currently privately owned, and is unfortunately no longer in use.
