The Albertdina Mill was built in 1906 by H. Wiertsema from Scheemda. The original owner of the mill was F. Westerling, an ill-fated miller who saw nine of his mills destroyed by fire in a short space of time. Westerling sold the mill to J. Ziengs, who later sold the mill to the town of Sleen. Today, the mill is owned by the Coevorden County. Tours of the Albertdina Mill are available by appointment only.
