The Abdijkerken, or Abbey Churches, is a complex which consists of three old churches – the Nieuewe Kerk, the Wandel Kerk, and the Koor Kerk. The churches were severely damaged during the Second World War, when German bombs caused one of the taller towers of the complex, to collapse. The churches have been restored, but are quite bare inside, although some classic organs and decorations have survived.
