The Zemelpolder Mill is a modern polder mill located to the south of the old Lisse town centre. The original mill was built in 1928, but was destroyed by an arson attack in 1999. The mill was rebuilt in June 2003. The Zemelpolder Mill is a good example of the use of mills in modern day Holland. The mill is owned by the Lisse County, and is open to the public. Guided tours of the Zemelpolder Mill are available upon request.
