The Windmotor Jorwert is a modern watermill located on Jorwerdervaart, between the railroad and Jorwerd Leeuwarden-Sneek in the town of Jorwert. The mill was built in 1925. It is a fairly small mill, with just 18 wind-sheets and a flight of 4.5 metres. The mill is still in use today. The current miller is Mr D. Weidenaar. The mill is not usually open to the public, however visits may be possible on National Mill Day and other public holidays.
