The Vogelenzang was built in 1819 by Peter Swinkels, and was later passed down to his son Anthony. Since 1921, the mill has had several owners. The mill was used as both an oil mill, and a corn mill. The Vogelenzang Mill is currently owned by Laarbeek county, and is maintained by Mr. P. Sanders. The mill is in good condition, and open to the public. Tours of the Vogelenzang mill are available by appointment only.
