The Tolhuys Corn Mill was built in 1888 to replace a much older windmill that had belonged to the nearby tollhouse. The old mill was a wooden one, and it was completely destroyed in a fire on Marth 17th, 1887. The Tolhuys Corn Mill was built in the same spot. In 1930 this mill was severely damaged in a fire, and when the interior was restored, the mill was converted to use electricity instead of wind power. In 1996 the sails and hood of the mill were restored, and today the mill is used to produce animal feed. The mill is open to visitors every Saturday.
