The Swan is a large grain mill located on Oude Hoofdweg in the town of Kerkwerve Moriaanshoofd. The mill was built in 1886, to replace a smaller, older ’wipmolen’ that had been bought by the town of Leerdam and moved to a new location. The Swan has had many owners, including Mr A. Boogaart Johzn, and the Verhage Family. The mill is currently owned by The Foundation For The Preservation of The Swan Mill. Tours of The Swan are available by appointment only.
