The Swallow Mill in Kesteren is a very interesting corn mill with a rich history. The mill was built in 2002 using parts from an historic German mill, and was put into operation in June 2003. During calm weather, the mill is ran using a 1920s diesel engine. The flour produced by the mill is used by the restaurant located in the basement. Visitors can enjoy fresh pancakes in the restaurant, and purchase flour and souvenirs from the mill shop.
