The Pink Mill was built in 1751 for the Honig family. In 1915, The Pink Mill was struck by lightning, but suffered little damage. The mill was decommissioned in 1926, and stood idle until 1935, when it was bought and restored by The Zaansche Mill association. The Pink Mill is still in use today, and can regularly be seen in operation. The mill is open to the public, and the current opening times are listed on the mill’s web site.
