The Duffelt Mill is a historic corn mill in the town of Kekerdom. It was built in the 1870s, and suffered severe damage in a fire in 1938, and required extensive restoration work. Between 1965 and 1977 the mill stood idle, and the building was used as a dwelling. The name ’The Duffelt’ was given to the mill after the most recent restoration work was carried out. Today, The Duffelt is the only remaining mill in the Ooijpolder region. It is ran on a voluntary basis, and is open to the public on weekends.
