The ’Black Tulip’ Museum, or Museum De Zwarte Tulp is located in the centre of Lisse. It is a museum devoted to the history of the ’Bulb District’, and charts the origins and evolution of bulbiculture. The museum features exhibitions explaining the journey from bulb to flower, including photographs, paintings, and videos, and a collection of bulb related tools ranging from the wooden and metal tools of a few hundred years ago, to the electronic ones of today.
