The Shetlanderij de Sijphoeve is pony centre located in the town of Loosdrecht. At the centre visitors of all ages can learn about ponies – how they were used as work-horses in the past, and how they are bred and kept. Children can also ride the ponies on tours through the local countryside. The centre is an ideal place for people interested in outdoor adventure. At the time of writing, they are unable to provide special facilities for people with disabilities.
