Olinger Koloniemolen
The Groeve Western 28, 9903 BA Laskwerd

Map
The Olinger Koloniemolen was built in 1900, to replace an older mill that had been severely damaged in a fire. The mill was built by J. Rietema, and was used to drain water from the area of land known as the Olingerpolder. The mill was upgraded to use a petrol motor in 1959, as wind power alone was not sufficient to provide the amount of drainage required for the polder. The engine was removed in 1972. The mill is currently owned by the Fivelingo Mill Foundation.
