The Anatomical Theatre is located in the Boerhaave Museum. The most interesting exhibits include some carefully reconstructed skeletons, although the theatre also features some wonderful Auzoux and papier-mache models of human organs, including a human larynx, eye, spinal cord and cerebellum, a male Pelvis, and a human heart. The collection also features the circulatory, nervous, digestive and respiratory systems of wild and domestic animals. The models were mostly made between 1850 and 1900.
