The Lisserpoelmolen is a 17th century water mill located on Rooversbroekdijk in the town of Lisse. The mill was built in 1676 to drain the 235 hectare Lisserpoelpolder. The Lisserpoelmolen is quite a large mill, with a flight of 27.1 metres. The mill was originally owned by the Old Veenen Waterboard, but was bought by the Rhineland Mill Foundation in 1986. The Lisserpoelmolen is open to the public, and guided tours of the mill are available upon request.
