The Lagenwaardse Molen is an historic polder mill located on Batelaan in the town of Koudekerk aan den Rijn. The mill was built in the 1836, and was used to drain the 145 hectare Bospolder until the mid 1950s. In 1963, the mill was bought by the town of Leiderdorp. The Lagenwaardse Molen was moved to its current location in 2003, to make room for a new high speed rail line between Rotterdam and Schiphol. The Lagenwaardse Molen is open to the public.
