The Korenmolen is a non-working wind mill located on Molenweg in the town of Laren. The wind mill was designed by H. Calis, and built in 1773. The Koren Molen was a corn mill, and was used in its original state until 1920. During the first world war many parts were replaced, and there was an electric motor fitted. The mill was closed down in 1988 because of its poor condition, and underwent a thorough restoration in 1996.
