The Koetz Tibbe Mill is a comparatively modern windmill. It was built in 1936, using a rare U.S. Wind Engine design. The mill is now recognised as a monument, and is owned and maintained by the Groninger Landscape Foundation. The mill was restored in 2004 by the Bakker and Hamminga mill makers. The Koetz Tibbe Mill is still in use today to drain the Krop Wolder Polder.
