Map
The Enterprise Mill is a relatively modern corn mill locatedon Hoofdweg in the town of Kolham. The mill was built in 1906 by J. Wiertsema, to replace an older mill that had been destroyed in a fire several years earlier. The Enterprise Mill is now owned by the Slochteren Mill Foundation. The Enterprise Mill suffered serious damage in the year 2000, when a nearby building caught fire and collapsed. The mill is currently being restored, however the work required is expensive, and a lack of funding has delayed the restoration process drastically.
