The Netherlands Hervormde Kerk is located on Naarderstraat in the town of Laren. It is a Dutch Reformed Church, and the building is considered a non-listed monument. Laren is the oldest town in the ’t Gooi region, and is one of the richest towns in the Netherlands. The Dutch Reformed Church was one of the many branches that came from the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century, and the church based its practices on the teachings of John Calvin.
