The De Leest corn ill was built in 1900 by the French mill-maker ’Vosters’ of Helmond, and Bertje Robbescheuten of Lieshout. The mill was owned by the Leest family until 1975, when it was sold to the municipality of Lieshout. The De Leest Mill was restored in 1989, and since then the mill has been in use on a regular basis. The De Leest mill is open to the public every Saturday, with tours available on other days by appointment.
